For fear of infection and spread of the virus we are asked to stay at home

And to avoid the spread of this virus, our events and activities are cancelled

Desiring to connect with our fellow-being, we availed of the technology

But transportations are either stopped or boarders closed

Suddenly, we are saddened by COVID-19

And great, families are gathered and enjoyed more time together

Unfortunately, governments like in the Philippines enforced lockdown prematurely

And without enough preparations most poor families suffered from lack of food and medicine supplies

Suddenly, we are saddened by the fear of COVID-19 infection

To avoid the spread of this virus, our events and activities are cancelled

And physical and social distancing has become the daily vocals

Our events in churches, schools, and works are affected

Worse, we have become away from our social life and communities

Suddenly, we are saddened by the change of our social mode caused by COVID-19

Desiring to connect with our fellow-being, we availed of the technology

Until boredom and loneliness strikes while on a self-imposed quarantine

Alas! Blog sites provide us to express our views and critics to our governments’ inefficiencies

Then Facebook and messenger provide connection to loved ones and worldwide community

Suddenly, we are saddened by the fact that COVID-19 hooked us to technologies to artificially socialize

Transportations are either stopped or boarders closed

Governments’ political actions are to close boarders to protect its citizens

Boarders are again prominent, a revelation that we still are the citizens of our own races

A sad truth of a divided humanity that has long been pretending to be united in one planet earth

Suddenly, we are saddened by our national divisions as revealed by COVID-19

All countries are affected – advanced, developing and poor third countries

But countries producing medical supplies can even profit from the poor ones

And exhibits economic disparity between and among countries and people

Now we are reminded that peoples of all races must unite to change the world

Suddenly, we are saddened by COVID-19 and realized that we still have so much to revolutionize.
