When commencement come

And foreseeing what you become

With the students, urban poor and academician

From whom the molding of your serving mind has began

Leave if you must

But don’t stop for serving the people is a must

When placements are definite

And you do not have the power over it

With workers and farmers and PUJ drivers

From whom the thought of social liberation lingers

Leave if you must

But don’t stop for serving the people is a must

When promotion is a gift

And challenge to wider service is the drift

With fellow workers, servant-leaders of emancipative vision

From whom weaknesses and strengths are given attention

Leave if you must

But don’t stop for serving the people is a must

When life is threaten

And the possibility to fight is not even

With empowered peers and community of people you love the most

From whom are encouragement that helped to win against those who opposed

Leave if you must

But don’t stop for serving the people is a must

When pushed up to the high mountains of freedom

And your time for a great decision has come

With all that you have, people and things, is lesser than a greater call

From whom and which all the lessons of societal transformation befall

Leave if you must

But don’t stop for serving the people is a must
